Blind Summit’s Citizen Puppet

Blind Summit’s Citizen Puppet

Puppet pioneers Blind Summit Theatre collaborate with The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama to present a political puppet documentary experiment that delves into the lives of people on the political “fringe”, in the build up to the general election. Using verbatim dialogue collected from puppets to tell a story of dubiously acquired wealth, fear of strangers, boom and bust, and the death of a giant.

‘If puppetry is ever to be the next rock ‘n’ roll these animators may well be its frontmen.’ - Time Out

‘Blind Summit once again prove that when you are working in miniature, you don’t have to think small.’ - The Guardian
