Biography

I have a passion for art and the stage and am enthusiastic about all aspects of theatre and stage production.

After working on many projects and acting as Head of Department for multiple productions, I believe that I have excellent leadership skills that will enable me to excel in this field. In doing so I am able to project my ideas and concepts in collaboration with others.

I have been successful in managing teams in high pressure environments many times before and being a critical thinker I can weigh up the pros and cons of a given situation and get the show on the road.

I understand the importance of scheduling and I have mastered the art of creating, editing and implementing these to ensure that we hit deadlines from the get-go. I also understand the importance of health and safety and keep my team updated vigorously.

I believe that cost control is vital in ensuring that projects do not go over budget and stay within the remit without compromising on creativity.

My people skills are what brings it all together. Communicating across many departments such as Production, Stage Management, Acting, Costume Design and Scenic Art has been a real pleasure over the years and is what I feel makes it all worth while.
